Henakanda Estate

Henakanda Lelwala Estate in Wanduramba in the Galle District is renowned for its low grown tea and orthodox method of tea manufacture. The factory has a daily capacity of 15,000 kilogrammes of green leaf. A workforce of around 240 engage in the tea manufacturing process whilst rubber and oil palm are also grown at the estate.
